<p>USC is my number one choice so I would definitely choose there over NYU. I think LA is a better place for people with my major. Also, there’s no possible way for my financial aid packages to be equal (my need is +45k… USC meets 100% of determined need while NYU only meets about 70%) so that probably affects my choice. Even if they were the same though, I think I prefer USC. Their film program is smaller and (in my opinion) a lot harder to get into. Plus, I’ve spent almost my entire life living in Chicago and I despise snow/coldness in general.</p>
<p>Another contender on my list is Carnegie Mellon because of their generous financial aid. I would choose CMU over NYU, but USC over CMU. Still waiting to hear from CMU, though.</p>
