<p>It is not the best environment for me given my aspirations to go to medical school. </p>
<p>I suppose such feelings are probably influenced by what some of my friends have told me: “dude if you want to become a doctor do not go to UT…it’s a ****ty school if you want to go into medicine”</p>
<p>Yea that’s pretty much verbatim what my friend said.</p>
<p>Not that my friends always know best, but the intensity of his words leads me to believe that although UT may not be as bad as my friends poses it to be, it’s certainly sub-par regarding preparation for medical school.</p>
