The UC Universities are not competitive to the level that someone who has a 4.0 (slightly below average) and a 1520 SAT score (very far above average) should worry about being rejected from more than three of them, let alone six of them.

UCs tend to weight GPA more heavily than SAT/ACT scores in frosh admissions. In contrast, some other schools like USC may be more friendly to a “test score heavy” applicant.
