<p>I understand most invitees are NMF caliber students. Presidential scholars who are interviewed and NMFs who are not interviewed get the same money (assuming NMFs did the nomination etc correctly). </p>
<p>It sounds like the only reason (other than having fun mentioned above at parents’ expense!) to show up for a presidential interview if one is an NMF is to hope to be bumped up to a trustee?</p>
