S19 was accepted to Ga Tech, VT, UIUC, RPI ($20K/yr merit), and one of his safeties WVU ($21k/yr merit) without an official visit. He had actually been to WVU many time for games, just not an academic visit. The only schools he visited that he was accepted to were UVA and PSU.
D20 was accepted by Wisconsin, U of South Carolina, SUNY Buffalo and Tulane without visiting. So far she has received merit from S. Carolina and Tulane. She did go to a local info session for Tulane and met the local S Carolina rep. In a local visit. I also told her to spend time on the why essays and honors applications.
