<p>I received an answer today from Kerry Schneidewind, the west coast rep in Admissions. She says they do NOT need the mid-year transcript, but they will need the final one in June.</p>

<p>Hi, quick question please…my cousin keeps telling me she has already been accepted to SMU and 4 other school in Texas . She just has to decide which to attend, she waiting on the best FA.She is going into the Arts. But she isn’t the greatest student at all and has 3 failing classes as of now in her sr year. Do most schools in TX require the final transcripts for positive acceptances or is she just trying to pull my leg? Thanks</p>
<p>I was accepted about a month ago. SMU sounds like an amazing school and I applied to their Business school</p>
<p>Most acceptances are contingent upon final grades. I don’t remember exactly what SMU’s policy is regarding that, but I would be very, very concerned with three failing classes in the last semester.</p>
<p>I got in to SMU also with 90,000 for all four years in scholarships! I love the envelope too! I kept mine. 
Anyways, I live in Dallas and have been to the campus many times and LOVE it! I will be living in the Virginia Snider dorm because I am in the honors program.</p>
<p>Anyone know how many Apps SMU has received this year?
Anyone know how many offers of acceptance were extended from said pool of apps?</p>
