Davis assigns a number of points to each category in which academics constitute for about 80% of the total points, and essays-which are only read to see if you endured hardships etc, etc-only make up 20%. Now correct me if Im wrong, but if you wrote a mean essay-you would only get 20% of all available points-and with that GPA your not getting squat out of the academic portion</p>
