<p>Vlad, are you in the west side of the state now? (Grand Rapids region?)</p>
<p>I lived in Battle Creek for a summer because that’s where my fiance’s from. Never, ever, ever again. I wouldn’t mind staying in SE Michigan. I actually live in a great school district (not Ann Arbor) but the state continues to gut my area of work. I’m not too optimistic about job opportunities once I graduate. Almost all the people I know who graduated this year with jobs (from grad school, not undergrad) were moving out of state or were going to work for the U. </p>
<p>It’s unfortunate. I really do love Michigan. I’ve lived here all my life, but I’m not eager to live in a state where they think my line of work is unnecessary (or worse- sinful and should banned). <em>shrug</em></p>
