act vs sat (composite and subscores)

I wondering how much getting higher sub scores in math and english play out when getting approximations for a SAT score.

Pretty much my real question is does getting a 30 with sub scores
E: 33
M: 32
R:28
S: 28
Look better than getting a 30 with sub scores:
E:27
M:27
R: 28
S: 36

i know that a 30 is around a 2000 but how much can those sub scores alter it?

A 30 is not a 2000. It is considered the high 1900’s and sometimes a 2000 depending on the scale. I would retake the ACT if you want to break 2000 equiv. As for the scores, I would say the first one is better since there are 2 scores that broke the 30s and the second one only one. The second score shows that you are very one sided brain wise whereas the first test shows that you are somewhat diverse. However, some schools allow superscore so you may be able to get a 32.

the act website says its a 2000
[Estimated Relationship between ACT Composite Score and SAT CR+M+W Score](http://www.act.org/aap/concordance/estimate.html)

I’m taking it again, i was just wondering what factor the sub scores play.

most schools ignore subscore and go with composite. subscores matter for schools that superscore and otherwise use section scores
