Actor David Carradine found dead

I read that his -ahem- private parts were tied. Hadn’t read anything about the hands.

^I didn’t want to go there first but I read there was a yellow nylon rope around his neck, a black one around down there and his hands were tied behind his back.

To me the sex part was irrelevant. This did not diminish my respect for him as an actor. I enjoyed his work in Kill Bill and I remember Kung Fu was fun.

ellemenope, when I wrote post #20, I already knew about what you have brought up and assumed that was known in the previous posts too. . But one article ALSO mentioned that the family has stated the hands were tied behind the back whereas some other article or official public statement only mentioned the other two places where rope was used. I feel sorta badly for the family that such “private” sort of information is out there at a time like this.

Not that it matters really…

I have a family member who lives in Britain and is a member of the voting academy of television and films…there is no (public) listing of any film being shot in Bangkok with David Carradine’s name attached to it, nor with the “noted” (in press) producer. According to the AP (Associated Press) it was to be the last day of shooting, but that doesn’t jive with no (public) listing, as it is considered protocol for production companies worldwide to “advertise” a work in production, a completed work now in post production, or even a production in the casting stages.

According to my D his previous divorce papers showed he had a propensity to dangerous and possibly deadly sex acts.

Sad really.

Sometimes I felt like dying after sex  but never did die.

^^^ that is very curious – and doing a quick web search does not turn up a web site for the movie (“Stretch”).

I read that he has 7 movies that he has done that haven’t been released yet. I suspect that it can take a while for a movie to get to a spot where it has a website.

One might not be shocked at some of the details about how David Carradine died–after all, he was a Hollywood type who has lived hard for decades–hard to imagine that he’d die quietly in bed. I’d be much more shocked if the same details were connected with a pillar of the community or the local reverend.

Ellemenope, I’m with you. Not that shocking. I would have been more shocked/saddened with him/for him at the idea of suicide. Great, charasmatic actor, loved Kill Bill.

I would much rather thinking of him dying of an accident rather than suicide or murder. I would like to think he died happy and doing what he wanted to do. That’s how I would like to remember him.

Good bye Bill. RIP Grasshopper.

We have been to Thailand twice and stayed in Bangkok at the beginning of each visit. Neither time for any dubious reasons. It is a wonderful country with wonderful people, wonderful food, wonderful scenery. Probably one of my favorite places. There are many many other sides to Thailand than this one.

so sad…
