<p>Not a remedy as such, but a type of pursuit: I have observed a couple of (unrelated) boys with a confirmed ADD/ADHD diagnosis, who took up an unusual sport: fencing. This was on a recommendation from a teacher, as apparently this sport is known to benefit/reduce symptoms, help kids focus, etc. </p>
<p>3 years later, both boys are doing significantly better academically and socially, and are said to be terrific athletes, with quite a few medals to their name - a boost to their self esteem. </p>
<p>IMHO, it’s worth a try.</p>
