<p>I worked with a KP graduate that specialized in Admiralty law.
I would bet, w/ a bit of research on your part, you could find a law school that has a department specializing in such things.
Alternatively, you could take a class at probably most law schools or, sometimes, there will be summer events taht specialize in such things.</p>
<p>Probably many lawyers graduate from law school and then seek to work w/ a firm that specializes in such an area.
It can b e fascinating area of law; the “law of th sea” is very old and the stories of each mishap make for good reading. Throw in international treaties and, well, I can imagine that KP graduate w/ sea experience could do very well.</p>
