There is nothing better than information straight from the source. The USC admissions staff posted about the interviews back in October. Two excerpts pertinent to the opening questions:

What can I expect in an interview?
Interviews last between 25 and 30 minutes, depending on your questions (and yes, ask questions!). You should be prepared to talk about yourself (of course!), why you are choosing to apply to USC, and if you have a major in mind, what interests you about that particular major. Although interviews are evaluative, it is meant to just be a conversation to get to know you a little bit better. It is also your chance to bring up anything that is not fully conveyed in your application.

Should I dress up?
Yes, we encourage you to dress professionally.
