admission cancelled

High schools vary considerably–the less the school does, the more the student & family have to do. Dealing with large bureaucracies like UCSD is a challenge, no two ways about it. I’d not get overly stressed but DO try to find your report card for the end of senior year & scan it & attach it to an e-mail to them with a note that you’ll be contacting them 1st thing Monday, 7/31, to straighten all of this out & contact your HS 1st thing Monday (the time zone will help you so you can find someone at your HS before CA even opens up its offices).

If you go to this webpage, they have contact info about their admissions office.

If you’re going to a huge university like UCSD, it’s good to get used to dealing with redtape because there will be a lot of it. Hope this is helpful & good luck in getting things straightened out 1st thing Monday.

P.S. HS rep means high school REPUTATION, not an individual that serves as an official REPresentative. The college counselor tries to keep contact with colleges that the HS tends to send students to, but counselors are stretched pretty thin everywhere.
