It was not 90%, before they pulled the info, Dartmouth reported 30-35% of valedictorians got in, Brown was 24% for val, 16% for sal. That’s a long way from 10%.
Yale says, “…academic strength is our first consideration in evaluating any candidate.” It doesn’t say it’s the end all and be all.
Sure, I don’t think anyone disagrees with that, and review of transcript is not the same as stats.
