Admission Status Change Date

<p>USNCorpsman, I believe ted 2012 meant a principle nomination. (Some MOC’s rank their nominees, thereby giving their most weight in ranking to their principle/first choice to go forward to the Academy for consideration.) Your nomination classification would, I believe, have 170 appointment slots available (from the USNA online catalog…if you need the page number reference let me know, and I’ll look it up). So, you’re competing between however many in your category (other reservists, etc) have made application to obtain one of those 170 appointments. My understanding is that your case is looked at differently than the Congressional nominations. Again, as Whistle Pig and others have implored…ask your BGO for the empirical on this.
Congrats to all that have received their Appointments! And, “hang on tight” for those that are in that time period of waiting to know. Not an easy time, I know…</p>
