<p>Southeastmom: Given UNC Chapel Hill’s prestige, nice college town, ranking and huge school spirit, what made him choose Pitt? Was it a specific program, money, the feel of the campus??? Just curious as it is kind of THE thing to go to Carolina if you get in and are from NC…considering the very low cost for NC students and the national reputation it carries (plus, the Duke/Carolina games!).</p>
<p>Pitt is a great school, but what about it made him choose it over UNC?</p>
<p>Also, did he meet many other kids from the south at Pitt?</p>
<p>As for Pitt Scholarships…hope to hear something positive in that regard or we won’t be able to afford it over a state school (I am an out of state student regarding Pitt).</p>
