My chances at Stanford, however, are the lowest among the colleges that I applied to.

Stanford is the only college that I will guarantee I am getting rejected from. @#$%…messing up my record…>.< And I was so happy in the morning too!!! >.<

^My school has 1 student accepted there every other year. Guess where last year’s sal went? Stanford! So…not working out.

And if they do accept me (5% chance) then there is about a 1% chance that I will go. So .005% chance that I end up at Stanford. Idk why I’m bothering.

good luck, guys. hahaha i remember when this announcement came during the early action round…oh my word i almost fainted

(i’m legitimately nervous/anxious/etc for all of you, fyi…i really DO wish you the best)

^ Are you from California?

Don’t forget that different schools look for different things in their applicants – in addition to the inherent degree of unpredictability.

Appropriately so.

Yes, I live in the Bay Area. Why?

Also, Handala…Stanford and HYP stress different qualities in their applicants.

AHHH!!! I’m freaking out now!!!

^Lol…my sentiments exactly. Good luck to everyone!! touches wood

How do you check for the decision???
Do you goto the Axess website?

It’s sent via e-mail.

everyone from my school got straight up rejected early… chances not good

Californian applicants have a distinct advantage.

Hey, that only means that the chances are better for us! They have to accept someone, right?

Not Californian applicants with ~0 ECs?

Right, I didn’t think so. :S But still…I can always hold out hope for the next checks clock 55 minutes. :D

Actually, that’s some comfort. Thanks mifune!!:]

Mifune, where did you get the impression that “Californian applicants have a distinct advantage”? I don’t believe that is correct.

Everyone has told me that Californians get the advantage… but i don’t know

Good luck you guys. REA reject here. Double waitlist today at Amherst and Vassar. (FA int’l)

Whatever happens, be proud that you applied!

I would prefer that they be proud of their accomplishments rather than of their sharing them. :)
