Would any of you guys care to look at my common app essay?
If i get into Cornell, I will personally give you “Admission Doctors” 5 bucks.

ok…PM me … u owe $5 to us now bec if we check it ur surely thru

College Confidential offers online/offline status for all its members; just look at “CC icon” at the bottom left of every post. If it’s highlighted in yellow, then the person is online. This site also has separate forums for accepted members as well. I don’t understand how you’re planning to charge to look over someone’s essay simply because you are among the tens of people on CC that already do it willingly and promptly. Were you a professional writer or expert then you could justify those kind of prices (CC also offers essay editing services for a fee, btw). All you’re planning on doing is shifting over members who are freely contributing their information here (which, surprise, is the entire point of this forum) to another site, and then expecting that people will pay for the exact same information. Not only do I doubt that any veteran members would be willing to do that, but College Confidential certainly wouldn’t let you advertise here, preventing you from reaching the exact audience that you’re hoping to target. Openly discussing your plans on a public forum also isn’t a particularly smart idea, especially describing your bait and switch tactics (enticing the consumer with a product and them taking it away, limiting it, raising its price later on).

If i get in, and I go to Cornell (I will go to Cornell if I’m accepted 100%) I will give you guys each 5 dollars. Canadian.
