@Ewurabena it was mailed Last Saturday! A lot of people have gotten results but a lot haven’t and it doesn’t seem to be geography related. They are mail only but I’d expect results soon
@tbone99 I believe the point of the discussion group is to share what we have each heard. For example, my initial post, and the reason for joining in, was to alert everyone to Stanford’s news today. I may be new, as you so kindly point out, but so are you, relatively speaking. Freedom of speech is still alive and well in the USA, right? @Ewurabena are you and international student? There’s a Lafayette thread and it sounds like internationals are hearing by email tomorrow. If you live in the US it’s mail only

Oh that’s interesting. I was under the impression it was tomorrow. It seems like the snail mail is coming our really sporadically for people even in the same US Cities on the the other thread. I still haven’t heard either but I’m in Texas. I hope you hear good news soon!

@DD4MadDog Sorry if you took offense at my comment - none was intended. If you look back at this board over the past week, the question you raised about the Ivies has been raised numerous times and, since almost all of the schools have now posted the specific time of 3/31, 5pm on their websites, there seems no reason to foster the idea that it might be some other time. I was hoping to prevent us going down that road again.

My daughter is still trying to get into the Lehigh site, it’s been down since at least 5:00pm tonight EST. She received an email yesterday saying decisions would be posted “soon”. Also an Admissions Officer blogged on March 13th that they were getting ready to stull the envelopes “soon” and posted a picture. I was happy about that until the 20th, 21st, 22nd, etc. Kind of misleading and not fair, JMHO. The congratulations envelopes did look very nice and I hope one arrives… “SOON”.

Has anyone received a letter from Colgate? Their portal says that they will notify by mail in the next week, but since there’s no date on that message, ‘next week’ is a bit ambiguous.

I apologize if this is not appropriate for this list, but… does anyone know if colleges will fly potential students out to visit? My S got a fairly large merit scholarship to Macalester, and I’m wondering if one can ask if they will fly him out (we’re on the East coast). Anyone have experience with this? Thanks!
