<p>Out DS applied prior to Oct. 15, he also applied to the honors college. I was talking to a guy how had a kid at USC and he said that if you apply for honors you will be accepted to the general admissions no matter what. Took it with a respectable grain of salt. DS then rec. a letter from his area rep. and all sounded good; however, there was no direct “your in” comment. </p>
