<p>arcadia, I certainly see your logic of the last paragraph. I just think it’s ridiculous of Middlebury candidates into being forced into being so strategic about submitting their application. Either require them or don’t use them. Also, reporting those who submitted to Midd in the avg, while easier for comparison to applying to Midd, makes comparisons with schools like Colgate and Tufts more difficult.</p>
