Advice for slow and possibly indifferent counselor and teacher?

Turns out, this teacher believed so much in D (top student with top test scores in her class) that she thought she was a slam-dunk to get into her reach school, and therefore she decided not to send recs to her other schools!

<p>that is the lamest thing I have ever heard. Sounds like the teacher messed up and made up a crazy story. Good thing your D got in anyway!</p>
