Spirit airlines is horrible. Flown once and never again, I don’t care what the price is and they nicke and dime you for everything.
To many other great airline choices to use this airline.
I only use the, when…well, I have’s come up with a scenario yet where I’d use them. 3M+ lifetime actual miles and they are about the only US carrier I haven’t flown. Too many stories on travel boards, and too many bad experiences with their original executives.
OP needs to check the T&C and Contract of Carriage to see cancellation terms. Most respectable airlines will refund due to time changes in the 90 minute to 2 hour range.
Funny that we just completed a flight segment with Spirit few days ago. I wold not take that airline for a mission critical journey. But for retirees like us, it is a cheap alternative. Even with that, I held my breath until it landed at my destination. We were delayed due to the weather and the other flights after us were all canceled.
