). I was saying “units” for a long time after I moved here. :)</p>
<p>Since your son has Physics credits, that might help - I think he still has to take 8 credits of Physics with Calc for his eng major. </p>
<p>And, of course, if he ends up with 8 Calc credits that will help.</p>
<p>Many kids start out with a double major because they come in with a lot of lower division credits. However, fitting in those required upper division credits (usually at least 30) can be a problem. So, many end up changing their minds later and just getting the minor which only usually requires 6 - 9 upper division credits and the rest can be lower division.</p>
<p>History is often an easy minor to do because kids often come in with 12-18 history AP credits. Take 3 upper division classes and you’ve got a minor. </p>
