Tanzania requires visas but we did it online from our home computer and received them in a week
Visas can also be done in person at the JRO airport on arrival. $100 per person.
In early 2001, we were on a short camping trip in either the Masai Mara or Serengeti parks - I can’t remember which one. All kinds of big animals were seen, but the thing that most fascinated us was watching a dung beetle rolling around its ball of dung. A half-dozen of us stood around in a circle for 30 minutes watching the thing.
