<p>My friend takes free cooking classes at local Williams Sonoma. They are held every weekend and cover a variety of topics. She meets others in the classes. For some months, I took the classes with her but now she takes it with others (I’m busy with other activities).</p>
<p>Frazzled1 I know EXACTLY how you feel (as you can imagine). We should get together and commiserate. D2 and I are currently planning a short FL trip just to get out of here, while she’s in the USA. That is how I try to cope.</p>
<p>Love having the kids home, but the peace and quiet after they’re gone is welcome, too, as long as they answer their phones when I call!</p>
<p>Florida in January sounds nice!

<p>When I think of how I used to push myself and my kids out into the awful CNY winter weather and horrific driving conditions because I was so sure it was important … and of course I was so wrong. Hibernation in January is nice, too.</p>
