I’m glad that you are OK also. Mom is recovering quite well, but still has to avoid infections, since coughing would still be very painful for her. She went to her exercise class yesterday (my sister drove her). Every time I speak to her, she is quite cheerful & has been walking to & from the library near her home & doing other exercise to keep up her strength and stamina.

Sorry to read about your accident and hope you have a quick & complete recovery. The brain fog sounds scary to me as well, and hope your friend recovers from that. Mom never mentioned any smoke–she may have had her windows down as she dislikes A/C anyway. She didn’t have any burns but was wearing long pants & a golf shirt. Time seems to be doing a good job of helping heal mom & hope it does for you & your friend too.

We aren’t getting any extensions for D. The most the mechanic offered is slightly thicker pedals that would perhaps add another 3/4 of an inch or so. In the small Volvo D drives, she does seem to be pretty far back & away from the steering wheel. Sure wish the airbags wouldn’t harm people so much, especially in these slow, low impact collisions.
