Only if you squirt it up your nose (and there used to be products on the market – sprays and such – designed for this purpose). Products you swallow don’t have this risk.
Airborne contains zinc along with vitamin C. I can tell from the taste (yuk) but just checked the package to be sure. I take it when I feel a cold coming on or when I’m flying. Seems to work for me but it could well be just the added hydration.
if you get a virus your body needs to use it’s army (immune system) to win the war.first it must recognize there is an invader, figure out how to identify foreign invader and kill it. (some viruses are super stealth or just literally overwhelm your army)
drinking vitamin c does not do anything. it is a myth. it is like somebody breaks into your home and you drink orange juice to stop them.
S2 swears by the chewable Emergen C. I have a low white blood count and need to boost my immune system so I take C and Zinc. I have heard that Zinc (and vitamin D) are more effective when take with C. Zinc has a dally max so make sure your vitamin and your daily food intake do not exceed the limit. I was told that too much can have a negative affect on your bodies ability to fight off infection.
