Alabama, Auburn, or Tennessee

* We live in Tn so UTenn will be less expensive by far.

My son loves the campus at Clemson, so based on your comments looks like he should like Bama and Auburn too.
So far here are his preferences:
Top choices : Clemson, Vanderbilt
2nd Tier: Alabama, Auburn, Florida ( he qualifies for in state tuition)
3rd tier: South Carolina, Tennessee, GA Tech (campus not too appealing and hard to get scholarships) *

I’m confused…

If you live in Tennessee, why does he qualify for in-state in Florida?

Are you military, and Florida is your state of record?

Or, is he National Merit, National Achievement, or National Hispanic, and gets in-state that way?

I don’t know how much rankings takes into account co-op or internship opportunities and such…but that would be a big deal to consider, too.

My son has had a generously paying internship from his first year.
