@turqluv I think since she is going for summer 2015 we don’t have that option. She needs to schedule her classes long before the semester will end, and they need her ALEKS scores to let her schedule. I’m not sure why they won’t just use the scores from 2 months ago - but they said they can’t.
@Tooth1010 I don’t think you can study for this test. It’s intended to show what you know so they know where to place you in Math. You can’t really fail it because if you don’t test into the class you want, you just have to take a pre-req class first. My daughter tested into the Math 021 class, which is college level math. Advising says that a score of 30% or above demonstrates the ability to take college level math. http://advising.psu.edu/aleks/understandyourscore.html. The higher you score, the higher math class you can test into. My daughter has taken up to Algebra 3 and trig, but no calculus.
