My dad was on buisness trip for a week in May. He took me along. It’s really strange, the professors I met with were great, the students I talked to all LOVE the school. I think being in classes 10:1 with a teacher who holds a DR. is great. It seemed that the teachers REALLY cared; it is not just a job. Did it being All-Male scare me? YES! at first, but, as you said, there are all-female schools with in 1-hr. driving distance. The school is VERY CONECTED to the Old South, which I found appealing. Perhaps the thing I liked most was The Honor Code; teachers LEAVE the room during exams (so I heard) The Honor Court is completely student run, has a lot the power.
The thing I disliked the most, probably was Farmsville. really SMALL town; not much to do, NO NIGHTLIFE but I’m ok with that. I don’t want to go to college for a BIG PARTY I’m there to STUDY and LEARN. gasp
HSC only has 1,000 students. This last May they graduared 271 seniors {the LARGEST in the college’s 230 year history.}The price tag is scaring my parents [$80,000 a year]
It really is a special place. The dorms were ok. some big some very small.
I’d really like to get into the suites. only two to a Bathroom:) instead of 7:(

That was my 1st response, if you’d like to know more just ask.
