I think “Young and the Rest of Us” sounds pretty slick. And hilarious.
Maybe I’m old but I can’t believe you all missed this one: Here Come the Brides Theme Song Intro - YouTube
The obituary of Robert Cleary was fascinating for its discussion of his history as a Holocaust survivor. My parents were aware and told me about it back when I was a kid watching.
Laverne and Shirley and Happy Days were fabulous theme songs……
But Six Million Dollar Man’s theme song with Lee Majors was simply amazing!!!
And I forgot Beverly Hillbillies!!!
(Sorry if these are already posted….I’ve not scrolled through the entire thread yet!)
My favorite is Lalo Shiffran composition for Mission Impossible. Mostly because it’s written in an odd meter…and I like it.
But every time I see this thread, I start humming the theme to the Flintstones!
The theme to Sesame Street is a classic.
For more contemporary take, I like the “Slow Horses” theme sung by Mick Jagger.
Love American Style, Sanford and Son (still on regularly), Brady Bunch, Gillian’s Island, SWAT
Just reading through everyone’s lists - there’s a ton of great songs.
