<p>My S went to Elon and he traveled back to CT for holidays. Perhaps she could find a friend(s) traveling to RDU too, and they could share the cab fare. Check the ride share board, I remember some local students would offer rides to either GSO or RDU and then donate the proceeds to charity. Lastly, if she has a local friend, perhaps they would be kind enough to bring her and offer to cover the cost of gas. We encountered the same problems with the Shuttle in terms of scheduling. She should have no trouble finding a way to get to the airport.</p>
