They used Moodle in Ds high school. Some schools use both.

I know you said not the 3-ring binder, but I am sharing this anyway. My son had surgery last week, so he is at my mercy. He will need to be very organized to be successful this semester.

I recommended two binders (MWF) and (TTh). I bought plastic pocket folders that are also dividers in the notebook, so he can put papers in there quickly with his one good arm.

The binder has a clear outside pocket where he can slide his schedule and a month at a time calendar printed on half of a sheet of paper. His schedule is not what I would have picked, but his school has lots of courses that are only offered MWF. His TTh schedule is very light.

Those polyvinyl folders also are sold with vertical orientation, making them useful for slipping into the backpack and leafing through the contents while in the backpack. They come in a variety of colors too. Keep math in one color, lit in another.

I did was MDMom suggested last term. I don’t really like binders but I had two of them laying around so I bought one 1 subject Five Star notebook and some Five Star paper for each of the binders and was all set for the semester. I used one binder for my two classes on Tu/Th and another for my three classes on MWF. The notebook was for my lab and for misc. things or moments, whenever I needed scrap paper.

It worked out fine; I still have some paper left and the binders are still in good condition. I used one for my summer classes and probably will reuse them next year.
