I am one of the few people that are barred from joining a branch of the military because of a disability (Hearing Loss). I originally intended to get an ROTC scholarship to pay for my college but I was unable to get a waiver for my disability. Are there any other alternatives, or programs similar to this?

Yes depending on your major: For example

NSA and I think DOD and DOE may have similar where you have to serve the agency for a period of time. Not too many of them, they are very competitive and you have to major in those areas.

Americorps would allow you to work and save money toward your education - not quite as much money as ROTC, but worth looking into.
