@GiddyHiddy I disagree with what was said in the previous replies. I was deferred early decision by Dartmouth last year, and then later accepted in the RD round. In no way is a deferral from
Dartmouth a rejection. In fact, Dartmouth tends to accept 5-10% of deferred students.
I would continue to be in contact with Dartmouth admissions reps; keeping them updated with new achievements and accomplishments. I would also maybe have your guidance counselor call on your behalf, further vouching for your credentials and interest in dartmouth.
In short, a deferral isn’t a rejection. Don’t lose hope.
