Wow. I’m not arrogant so I try not to say things like this, but I have higher scores/stats than you in every area, especially respect and I suppose just general niceness. Yet I have half the pure conceit that you’ve shown in this thread. Get over yourself. And considering I’m not racist or sexist, I could care less that you’re black or a male, those facts don’t make you any more impressive to me.

That said, since based off my limited knowledge you probably will get in, maybe being around other talented people at a good college would be just the thing to make you see yourself a little more realistically.

PS I am a skinny cross country runner and you sound like a big football man so don’t beat me up.

Actually, you’re just slightly above average with regards to SATs. Then again, AA will probably help you.

I don’t think you’ll get in. Waitlist most likely, especially since WashU adcoms read these boards and keep track of applicants when possible. You’re unique, so it shouldn’t be hard to match up your app with your arrogant CC personality and blacklist you. Peace.

iamjacquesbarjon, last year the class had 1470 including the Jprogs out of 22,000 applications (less than 19% was accepted). This year nobody knows the final number until February (spring transfers are included in the class), so…what are you talking about?
Recruitment letter? Are you sure? There are no athletic scholarships at Wash U, or are you talking about Washington State?

Of course more than 1470 were accepted! If they had only accepted 1470 out of 22,000, their acceptance rate would have been less than 7% and their yield 100%!

As Trapper said, WashU had about a 20% acceptance rate last year. That would mean that they accepted about 4400, had a yield of around 33%
and ended up with a class of 1470. These numbers are not exact, but they are close enough to give you a picture of WashU’s application stats.

lucky ■■■■■■■
So you going to be aiming higher than WashU?
You should be applying to HYP, Stanford, MIT etc considering your ego and confidence in getting a full ride to WashU

no thanks. i want to go to a college that’s FUN and at the same time get a good education. kinda that work hard/play hard motto (as cliche as that sounds). so like washu, duke, penn, northwestern are top 4 right now. thanks though.
