Dude…spiral…start a farm in Farm Town on Facebook. It will give you something to do.

hahaha FarmVille? Lol

and no I didn’t apply yet…I keep looking at my essay and sighing inside.

OH yeah…FarmVILLE, thassit! Can you tell I’m OLD? I only look at Facebook when my daughter has it up. But…though my D has Ivy aspirations/applications…she’s not fretting. So I thought maybe she owed it all to Farmville therapy!BUT…she’s done with her apps so that’s OK I guess. BTW…she’s very close to you in most stats (lower actually…740/740/730, 34, 3.7GPA, 780/750 SAT IIs). You can’t change any of those now…so just go for it. Are you worried you might not be able to “make the grade” if you DO get in? I worry about that for my D. Would one rather be the bottom of an elite class or the top of an average class?

FYI - surely rank is not AS important in a tiny class…the larger you get, the more accurate the rank/range would be. In a class of 50…having a bad cold during one final one year could change a GPA enough to drop a spot!

My D did have major angst over her essay too. I had to constantly tell her to keep writing! Just keep the pen moving. She ended up applying to several colleges, then answering a supplemental question for a scholarship at her state Uni, and WISHED she’d thought of that for her Common App essay.

Best of luck to ya!

Honestly at this point, your essays are what they are. I highly doubt you’ll be able to change them drastically enough (For better OR for worse) in the few days you have reamining. Might as well pluck up your courage and just submit the thing
