Well, @RichInPitt , I learned that everyone has and will always have individual differences. After much talking with my new friend who happened to see everything unfold, he totally saw where I was coming from. Hey, at least one person agrees with me. So, of course, I treated him to lunch and a shopping spree. When we were heading home, we actually ran into my old friends at a stoplight. Immediately my friend grabbed my phone and played “Bad Reputation” by Joan Jett and told me to roll down all the windows and open the sunroof. I was confused at first until he pointed out the guys in the other car and I saw how his plan was formulating.
Naturally, I went along with it and boy was it satisfying leaving them in the dust with 400 hybrid horsepower. I just decided life is going just like Mrs. Thatcher always said,
“If you set out to be liked, you would be prepared to compromise on anything at any time, and you would achieve nothing.”
And @CottonTales , what makes you think I’m not a real college student? I mean just because I am one doesn’t mean I don’t like nice things. Just like what Tammy Bakker said, just because one is a Christian doesn’t mean they don’t like nice things.
