<p>I think people do care. The problem isn’t that sexual assault only happens at Amherst. The problem is that it was preceded by a spate of incidents that gave it a particular traction. <p>Mini’s point seems to be that these assaults are not accidental by-products of too much drinking but are predatory in nature. I guess reasonable people can disagree as to the extent people with criminal intent wind their way through the admissions process, but it’s something to think about.</p>
