<p>The town of Amherst was too small for my D, even though we don’t live in a city nearly as large as NYC. If you will miss the city, I would think long and hard about Amherst.</p>
<p>The town of Georgetown, and the surrounding area, have much more to offer.</p>
<p>Also consider the cost of transportation to each of these colleges. It can add up fast.</p>
