@TRIPPIEREDD12 I’m not currently privy to the inner workings of the Admissions Office, but the vast majority of RD admits will come as they normally do in March. So those awaiting a decision shouldn’t fret that they didn’t receive early writes.

The Amherst College student government sets up a Facebook group each year for admitted students. If you are accepted you can join - search for “Amherst College Class of 2024”. It’s a great place to make new friends and learn more about the college. Congrats to those who’ve been accepted and good luck to those still waiting to hear! My son is a third year at Amherst and couldn’t be happier.
@KrazyKid I received a status update in my portal along with an acceptance letter in the mail. Don’t worry though, most of decisions still come out later

Most probably! at 18:21 EST. Just because Amherst was established in 1821 A.D.

Guys, how many international students does Amherst take? (rough estimation)
Total International enrollment in 2019-20 is 150. It was 169 in 2018-19. I’d say they take around 40 freshman each yr.

@OverseasFather the 40 is the enrolled students. I meant, how many students they accept? not all accepted students get enrolled.
Considering that Amherst has an overall enrollment yield of 39%, and assuming that the International enrolment yield is approx the same, I’d say they accept around 102 international students each year.
