<p>No. The top LACs have always had some percentage of low income full-scholarship students.</p>

<p>It is very hard to compare eras using measures like median household income and the like. However, I’m not sure the income distribution has really changed that much, certainly as far back as 1970 – counter-intuitive though that might seem with all the diversity efforts.</p>
