<p>To put it lightly, you son had a WHACK advisor. I’m pretty sure EVERY pre-med student I knew took Bio 1 and Chem 1 the same semester. I really don’t see how that is any different than an Engineer who has to take Physics 1, Chem 1, Engineering 1 and Calc in 1 semester. Two sciences is NOT that bad. And it’s totally doable, especially since the Chem 1 labs are not hard.</p>

<p>Many people have said the Intro to A&S class is useless. They basically show you a bunch of study areas and then you have some sort of group project. But other than that, it’s a useless credit. I would definitely do Chem 1 and Bio 1 in the fall and then Chem 2 and Bio 2 in the spring.</p>
