<p>I know when I was in my 20s and lived in London, we all drank a lot. It was perfectly normal to go to the pub every lunch time even on work days. And most evenings we went to restaurants and pubs as well. It is a normal part of British social life. Looking back, I don’t how I got my work done after lunch at the pub or wine bar. But I did, and I did it well. I guess my body was used to it? I don’t know. I know my physical tolerance for alcohol is much lower now that I don’t drink often. If we eat out and I have a drink, one is my limit.</p>
