TIGER steals the show!

Tennis is complex?

GinPA- seriously? you arent a mennonite are you?

Tennis is awesome. Federer=Real Athlete.

And who’s not a real athlete? Alex Rodriguez? Ichiro Suzuki? Most people in the world couldn’t throw an out or hit a home run if their mother’s lives were on the line. And yeah, people like Roger Clemens is on the pudgy side, but what would you call a man who can throw a 95 mph fastball? A nerd?

…no…you call him a guy with a really strong arm…haha

anyways, i’ve seen debates over sports and no one ever wins so lets stop it before it gets out of hand

Ive got to be the only person that watches and loves sports like cycling and football…yet also watch and love baseball, football, hockey, etc

No I’m not Mennonite. But Landis is a prominent Pennsylvania Dutch name. Very prominent in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania - where Floyd Landis, as well as my decendents, happen to be from. I’m not exactly sure how far he is from me…but it’s likely a very very distant tie.

Nah, but we are a rare breed who appreciate the different values of all sports. I love them all because I’ve tried most of them–I have a preference for baseball and football, but I’ve recently got into watching tennis (since I started playing with my friends), and I even watch golf if only to say “How the **** did he do that?”

This will throw a kink into the whole thing:

That’s a real shame if it turns out he cheated.

yea i saw that too…it would be a damn shame…

high levels…but illegal levels? The UCI used to allow an insane ratio of testosterone in the body…it is a shame though, because you know the French media is gonna pounce all over this one. Cortisone doesnt raise testosterone levels does it?

I don’t believe so…

that’s so dope

Well he has a bone disorder, so that may contribute to something. First they reported that it wasn’t him, that they were testing somebody else. Lance Armstrong always went through this stuff

i was watching PTI on ESPN and there was a cycling guy on there that said that the way they test testosteron is by the ratio of epi-testosterone to testosterone…he didn’t explain the difference. basically he said that it’s not tha landis has “a lot” of testosterone, but that he has abnormally low epi testoterone. so the normal ration is 1:6 but his is 1:11. he said a possibility is that the cortisone (sp?) lfor his hip lowered the epi-test.

whatever. i don’t know, sounds sketchy.

At least Tiger doesn’t do steriods.

but he also doesn’t play a real sport…haha…jp…no but really
