Before Andy Taylor and Matlock, there was 'A Face in the Crowd.')

Another memorable Griffith work is his humor monologue, “What It Was Was Football.” You can listen to it on YouTube.

Love Waitress.

And “The What it Was is Football” is a great routine.

Isn’t it nice that almost everyone seems to have liked him. What a great life.

I really liked Andy Griffith and the roles he played on ‘The Andy Griffith Show’, ‘Matlock’, the movie ‘A Face in the Crowd’ and others. I’m sorry to see him go.
