ANNOYING songs for my son to wake up to

Is there a worse song than this?
[Morris Albert - Feelings 1975 - YouTube](<a href=“- YouTube”>- YouTube)

Only issue is the song is slow mellow and low key it isn’t likely to wake most people up. If anything, this song’s so boring it almost put me to sleep just now at lunch.

^^^
Good point. This is my favorite wake up song when I travel, but it is in no way annoying: <a href=“- YouTube”>- YouTube;

Too funny, but I think that song is totally annoying! Who would think that the Beatles could ever sound like a bad high school marching band?

Morris Albert’s “Feelings” is more cringe-worthy than annoying IMO.

How about “I Am, I Said.” The challenge would be to get up and turn it off before he says, “not even the chair.”

My roommate has this issue and she has found that Miley Cyrus and anything sung by Alvin and the chipmunks works.

sacrilege!

Back in high school, this is the song that we used to blast really loudly on the speakers to psyched out an opponent right before the start of a hockey game. Not as crazy and strange now but back then it was quite unusual when it first came out before everybody heard it.

“Whip It” by Devo

I used to annoy the kiddos with this:

[Matt Bianco - Get Out Of Your Lazy Bed - YouTube](<a href=“Matt Bianco - Get Out Of Your Lazy Bed - YouTube”>Matt Bianco - Get Out Of Your Lazy Bed - YouTube)

^^^^^

Now that IS REALLY annoying! Matt Bianco thinks he is Elvis.

Surprised no one has suggested “It’s a Small World After All.”

I’m thinking a recording of an ambulance siren on a continual loop ought to do it.

What about putting the opening chant of Lion King’s Circle of Life in a loop? I love the song though.

Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba!

Nants ingonyama bagithi baba
Sithi uhhmm ingonyama

Reveille? Time tested.

Just don’t use The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. It is law in our house that if it is playing when you wake up you don’t have to get out of bed all day! Most depressing song ever.

“Rainy Day Women #12 & 35” by Bob Dylan
(Everybody Must Get Stoned)

“I’m Eighteen” or “School’s Out For Summer” by Alice Cooper

“Don’t Worry Be Happy” by Bobby McFerrin
(He might even clean up his room for you!)

The Wheels of the Bus Go Round and Round…

The Pina Colada song
*
Surprised no one has suggested “It’s a Small World After All.”*

My sister sang that all the way back from our trip to Disneyland to Seattle in a microbus, in 1970.

Get that loud alarm clock and put it on the opposite side of the room…set on the highest volume.

The song that would irritate me most and get me out of bed is It’s a Small World. I can’t stand it.

Update–today it was the Pinkie Pie Smile song, from My Little Pony. (This kid will never be a Brony–but he has 3 younger sisters who LOVE MLP.
One of my other sons had a Brony roommate his freshman year of college–that was. . .interesting).

S can’t reach his alarm from his bed, but he “sleepwalks” across the room, turns it off and goes back to bed. Says he doesn’t remember.

Kid actually was in the shower at 6am today–we didn’t turn the music on until 7. (I think he pulled an all-nighter to finish homework.)

I’m thinking about Rebecca Black “Friday” for tomorrow.
Also thought of “The Lion Sleeps Tonight.”

You ARE joking, right? This is an important life skill and he is WAY too old to have this problem.

Email his teacher every day to find out if he got there on time… First time he doesn’t take away his phone…Give it back after one week of being there on time. If he’s late AFTER you take away the phone away, ground him.

Getting to school on time and making good grades are his primary responsibilities right now…he needs to grow up!
