Everybody knows my dream has been to go to Harvard or Princeton… I bet my classmates will ask so I won’t hide it.

I lied to anyone who wasn’t a super-close friend. but it kinda leaked to only a couple but since them i’ve been denying it. although it isn’t surprising to have rumors fly around. even before i thought of applying to harvard, there were rumors that I was already accepted. dang… i wish. hahah

whenever ppl ask where i want to go, i say taylor gang university…so chill bro

Probably wouldn’t sleep for weeks…expecting a rejection letter, but I’m fine. MIT kids can cross enroll anyways :)

src125 did you get into MIT? That’s amazing congratulations!
First thing I would do is schedule a plane ticket to Visitas (and hopefully Princeton Preview too…)

yep! I don’t know how, but I did! Hoping to spend the next four years of my life on one side of cambridge or another.

Everyone at school expects something out of me lol. I feel it’s become more of a matter of pride than actually wanting to get in- though of course, I should want to be accepted at these schools…

A letter won’t arrive in the Thursday mail? I imagine that a fat envelope would be more rewarding than text on the computer screen, but I suppose it’ll have to suffice.

XabsoX…I know exactly what you mean. Don’t let their expectations become what you have to live up to. If you do…then you will be devastated if it doesn’t work out.

1st reaction if I get in…Go play beach volleyball all day.
1st reaction if I get rejected…Make my best bud buy me a burger and then go play beach volleyball all day.

win/win either way :)

Sorry to get off topic here, but i was just wondering–does anyone know if harvard already decided on the decisions and is just waiting for the 29th to release all of them?

^They have finished the decisions. The accepted are in the financial aid office now.

Supposedly, they’ve already decided and sent all of this year’s admits’ files to the financial aid offices to compute for the packages (for those that need). But then again, Dean Fitzsimmons said that a decision can be changed until everything’s mailed…

oh, how did you find out?

^ I heard nothings set in stone until the very last minute they send out their decisions lol but their prbly pretty solid already.

should i update fafsa now or after i get my decision?

neorobie, why don’t you email the finaid office the changes if they are significant? FAFSA update might not get noticed. Or you could do both of course. Probably should, assuming there are other schools using it. If changes are minor, I’d let it ride.

ok i’ll let it ride lol. penn’s fafsa desdline is april 15th and i’d prolly get rejected at harvard anyways. haha

t-6 hours!

@thomasrosal Can you better explain what the dean of harvard means in changing the decision untill everything has been mailed? Does it imply that the student will be admitted by an email, but soon the offer will be changed? that’s dreadful.
